Either way the money sucks, just accept that. If you want flying experience, go regional for a little while. All the non-military seasoned pilots I know that fly a "BSJ" comment that their time flying for a regional was the most fun they had as a aviator. Get some experience first, the "BSJ" will be there waiting for you in a couple/few years and the compensation package might even be better by then (at least that's my plan).
