Re the company not meeting its requirement for direct entry Airbus drivers.
I find operating out of T5 very pleasant in-part because my colleague and I invariably place the same emphasis on verbalising threat awareness, SA, gottchas etc etc all in the context of having a laugh as we go.
Given that they were swamped with bona fide applications from all over the world it must have been tempting for them to alter their entry requirements just to make the numbers work.
That they didnt do this, I take to mean the selection process remains as watertight as is poss and that those who get through share the BA mindset. Its NOT better, its just different and difficult to put into words.
