9. One member of a family group decides not to travel. Their baggage has been pooled and their
belongings are spread amongst the other family members baggage, what action would you
take?


Investigate to ascertain if there are any suspicious circumstances. Where there are
none and the credentials of the passengers status are not in question the baggage, with
the approval of the aircraft commander, can remain on board. If however suspicion is
raised as to the nature of the offload, care should be taken to ensure each item of
baggage within the pool is removed from the aircraft and re-processed as
unaccompanied baggage before re-loading.
