I recall an incident on PX Hill with ex-Talair pilots (Robbo and Weasel) discharging firearms from their balconies into the settlements below, this got the attention of the local branch of the firestone cops. The Weasel ran a thriving trade keeping all of us residents on PX Hill armed to the teeth, but to his credit he bought back the "piece" he sold me for the same price when I left.
The Bottom Pub is now a modernish building housing the ANZ bank, with a nice blue and white wall lovingly redecorated by buai spit !!
