and does anyone know 10 hrs of instrument training have to be real IMC or it can be under the hood?
The wording in CAD54 is "10 hours instrument flying as P U/T in aeroplanes." Whether it is real IMC or under the hood is therefore irrelevant as long as it is an instrument flight as pilot under training.
