Max fuel imbalance of 500lbs
came in handy when doing lots of short runs. Use the crossfeed in the cruise and burn fuel from just the No 2 (RH) tank and that way you only need to top up one side on the turnaround
Caution: remember to turn the crossfeed off and monitor your fuel gauges and most definitely respect the max fuel imbalance! If your workload gets too high for whatever reason, this in when you are likely to forget that the crossfeed is on so I'd recommend switching back to BOTH tanks before you get overloaded with other more important things like FLYING the plane...
