It is quite possible for an airplane to dive nose first ,after a stall,even with the stabilizer jammed full up.Donīt know if that was the case,it is too soon to try to explain this accident.
One thing is for sure : a big plane,at very low weights and high thrust settings,can be very difficult to control if something goes wrong.
