Its great to see a history is still told
My Father, yes Dennis Douglas was a great man on whom I believe got avaition out of a dark & glamor hole with Douglas Airways just as Sir Dennis Buchanan did with Talair. Though Im sure many other people did their dash in doing the same...It's a shame though that Aviation in PNG hasnt been the same since both companies faded away. Helping the locals on whome needed transport to take their cargo to the markets or to just get from place to place. Lets hope PNG gains a future in Aviation & memories stay with us forever to tell our young, of the good old days!
