Just tell CX you WILL be reporting for jury duty (rather than for jail), REPORT for jury duty, and see how it goes. Work out whatever happens with CX later.
I was told I wouldn't be let off my flights by CX and told them they better find someone to do them because I'm not going to jail for not reporting for jury duty.
Fortunately, I wasn't picked and didn't have to miss any flights.
