Trainiing in nz is a great experience. Was fortunate enough to have completed my cpl and cir there. I hear that its very easy for australian student to study there and have the flying funded by the nz studylink scheme. Just be prepared to wait a while for your licence conversion to go through when you arrive back home. Some people have waited more than 6 months.
