I'm hearing more and more rumors that Aero rotary wing is on the verge of meltdown with their clients trying to get new bids in for Aero contracts. We may laugh at Caverton, but they still have Bell 412s coming and, it seems unlike Aero, they're not going to go away. The Evergreen story seems to have gone very quiet, but I hear they're just making adjustments to their proposed mode of entering Nigeria, including some changes in local liaison.
Aero's changes in direction towards becoming a regional airline and away from its original core business of support of the oil and gas industry, to further the political goals of a member of the Ibru family, will almost certainly mean Aero going the way of Okada and other has-been airlines and will only benefit Arik.
