I see your point. But the position of DMM in either base or a line station requires tasks that would have to be re-allocated to another level of employee, and although this possibly could be done, it would take some time. Unless there is a surplus of DMM's in some depts? Or maybe if various dept's were combined to operate under the same DMM?
At the end of the day, If a DMM spot is being filled by a troublemaker, I think all would rather see that individual gone, rather than that position.
Who knows.........Next week should be a very interesting week, and one in which most are looking forward too.
I can easily think of at least 2 levels below GH that could be given the flick, and quite frankly we were better off in the past without.
