ok Bris Sparky and others,

If you voted for an EBA than means young, new members lose there jobs as opposed to those management would select for being deadwood - what do you say to them. You advocated - you've had one man taking delight in the fact... What do you say to the young guys who lose their jobs. Are you going to put money in their wallets? Doubt it.. A recession always demonstrates to the young that union's aren't interested in their hard work. They're only interested in how long you've been working as opposed to the quality and dedication of your work.

Shame. Which young guys - give it time... If they aren't after Stephen's blood it's because they don't understand what he has done.

The fact remains that you did what you thought was right. That's fine, but don't tell me that in hindsight what you did was in the interests of everyone. It wasn't. Least of all in the interests of the company trying it's best to keep you in employment.
