Unfortunately an airport putting out an "aircraft blew a tyre on landing" message would find that converted within minutes by the tabloid press into "Passengers seconds from disaster" type headlines. So just saying it is an incident and not going beyond that when the press ring up the
PR team prevents such nonsenses.
