what the hell is going on with cabin crew management, or is that mismanagement. spoke to some syd short haul crew last night at a party. there are notices up asking for volunteers from both csm and f/a ranks to work extra hours because they are short of crew. apparently the same is happening in melbourne, more drafting, yet they are sending csms to longhaul as f/a's when reserve crew are not even achieving min 150 hours on reserve! could be a lot more cairns crew heading south if the muppets in management keep this up. haven't heard anything re perth or brisbane situation.
