Piper has other immediate problems as well.
Apparently, their Meridien prop-jet airplane has
serious issues with corrosion to the engine inlet case.
They had P&W Canada use magnesium and now corrosion issues are a big problem.
If I had a new Meridien and the engine had to come out after 200 hours to have this fixed (at my expense, no less...IE: no warranty repair possible) my lawyer would see to it that the company would pay,
BIG time.
