It really depends on your budget, and you cant really generalise on any one location.
South Ayrshire is virtually crime free compaired to the inner cities in the UK.
There are multi millionaires and those less fortunate in Ayr, likewise in Troon. Some are nice folk, some not so nice, but the latter are very much in the minority
