What will be the best speed?

Just curious...if M.8 is burning fuel and a hole in AA's pocket,
what then is the fuel saving speed for A320? m.78/79??
At least we are prepared when allocating levels.
How much can u guys save(in terms of USD) when ATC shortens
your track by 1min.
