TF appears to be a slick operator and publicity hound; his MO reads something like this: I pay you One dollar now, and another dollar . . . catch me when you can.
He weaseled his way out of the Sabah/Sarawak essential air service contract and left MAS holding the bag with ragged out and run out F50s and Otters. Ditto with paying airport usage fees. He thinks that the Malaysian taxpayers owe him special favors for giving them shiny new airplanes with black leather seats and extra low fares, and he in return wants endless financial concessions from the government.
Wait a few years and see how TF will be dragging his ass when he's having to fork over tons of cash to pay for overhauls on his now still factory new A320s.
