I would choose the US majors, but depends on your situation, age etc. If your wife is flexible the sandpit is an option for a few years, you will gain experience in international operations, great destinations etc. For wife and family it is not a bad life provided your wife is open minded. Good schools, good shopping, plenty of help in the household (maids, cleaners, babysitters etc). I think it is a great choice, but only for a limited time, it is not a career here.
