If its going to be Gatwick crew i think they would have to position you to lcy as its not your operating base .
However if they start a lgw - nyc route ( maybe a new lh route ) you could end up doing :
lgw-nyc-lcy-nyc-lgw
They would also have to modify the LGW MOA agreement for crew
