KB, the pic was taken in November 1985 from a Queenstown Aeroclub PA28 on arrival from Queenstown over the top at about 7000' while contemplating a descent plan. Probably THE most spectacular bit of flying I have done - scenery wise!
Mrs FTDK is spring cleaning and pulled out an old photo album. I thought it was an interesting pic.
Was back there in 2006 - seems to have changed a bit in 20 yrs.
J, angle of bank? You think I was looking at the AH? Can't have been too steep - had an 7 mth preg Mrs FTDK in the right-hand seat and a sprog in the back.
