How does divorce affect your travel benefits?
Since it seems to be an across-the-board standard, I am wondering how a divorce affects an airline employee´s travel benefits for the "others" in his life.
For example, at my airline benefits are determined by marital status. If single, the parents get the nice full benefits on Other Airlines that would otherwise be exclusive to the spouse and under-age children. However, say an employee gets divorced, do his children lose the travel benefits, or are parents able to take them "in lieu" of the ex-spouse, or what typically happens?
