Not sure about MAN as a new GF destination, they used to ply the route with a 767 a couple of times per week as a tag-on from MUC and CDG back in the 1990's I believe, but it was never their preferred route as it was from AUH instead of BAH due to the restrictive bi-laterals at the time (I stand to be corrected here?)
At MAN these days you have Etihad daily on AUH alongside Emirates 2x daily (possible 3rd in the pipeline?) to DXB and Qatar daily to DOH so things do look a little crowded for a new carrier to the Gulf states. Although it would be great to see GF metal on the ground at MAN again
