Takacs, sorry I assumed you were talking about A320s, which is the subject of this thread. However the magic button would not have worked in either case. Strangley enough, there is a red panic button in simulators that will freeze motion to stop the box from departing the hydraulic actuators in case of a possible input malfunction. Wearing seat belt harness was SOP in the sim with my company.
