Hey all, New to this forum
Age 21, Gcse's, A-levels, and halfway through a graphic design degree (will be 22 when i graduate.
I am thinking of joining the RAF as a pilot, have a few questions hopfully someone can help me with.
I gather most people that join the RAF as a pilot want to fly jets or alike, I really want to be a helicopter pilot and am not interested in flying planes.
Do you specify on sign up? I have read that they assign you a aircraft after training but can this be anything or can you join specifically their rotary devision.
Also how long is the training and how is it structured from sign up to first post. (Helicopter pilot)
