I applied for LHR SH on 3rd May and received my Congratulations email on the 5th. Am in the hold pool and have heard nothing to date. I worked on shorthaul as a temp last summer and can honestly say I had the best of times. Night stops in Rome Barcelona Nice and Madrid etc were fantastic. The training course is quite hard and I was very worried about wearing the smoke hood but when it came to it I was so caught up in doing the exercise correct that I forgot it was on! The worst part was visiting Hounslow swimming pool and getting into a life raft ...but that's another story. Lulutinkerbell please let me know if you gat a start date and I'll post if I hear anything.
