RAK will be another Air Arabia with a little touch of "finesse" (biz class) as the CEO announced in his antecipated preview few weeks ago. He didn't say it all but was good enough to speculate that the first objective is to carry the Northern Emirates local labour force home (meaning home countries) along with the tonnes of cargo they airship home. The 2nd will also target the cargo export business to the ex-Soviet countries along with their nationals wishing to visit the country via RKT. Finally, Europe and the many that usually run away from the northern harsh winter and wish to do a little bit of mountain or desert tracking, the beautiful coast line they still have untouched by the cement savagery elsewhere in the country and the shopping. The Gulf area in general, and the UAE in particular, is a safe destination where you see (for the time being) no kidnappings or other horrible stories just like in Yemen and elsewhere recently.
