A warrant for the arrest of the pilot who blew the whistle on an alleged pilot licence scam was issued on Tuesday by the Pretoria magistrate's court after he failed to appear in court.
Louis Maloma, 30, was supposed to be sentenced, but when the investigating officer went to fetch him he was missing.
He had earlier pleaded guilty to a charge of fraud, admitting he had access to the papers for his licence examination.
The case was postponed to November 13. - Sapa
