Now I see the pattern....

Assumptions: Base pay 80,000 UKP per annum, 4.33 cycles of 12 weeks per annum.

Factor in the 10% pay rise for the 6/6 (7/5) gives 88,000 UKP per annum.
Factor in the 25% pay rise for the 8/4 gives 100,000 UKP per annum.

6/6 roster means 181 work days on average per annum.
7/5 roster means 212 work days on average per annum.
8/4 roster means 242 work days on average per annum.

Per day rates then work out to be.... 486 UKP, 415 UKP, 413 UKP respectively per work day.

The extra 61 days per year for the 8/4 roster over the 6/6 roster equals a grand total of 12,000 UKP per annum which means a per day rate of 196 UKP for the extra 61 work days in excess of those worked on the 6/6 roster.

Hell of a pay cut to work over-time I would say.
