Well, the start of July has come and gone and the silence about any pay review for either CHC or Bristow is deafening
I guess neither of them is really serious about getting enough pilots for Nigeria then. They've both had long enough to take some serious steps but continue losing pilots either to other operators or other regions. The larger the companies get, the more completely paralysed by inertia they seem to be. There's always a lot of criticism here about the Middle East and how companies like Abu Dhabi Aviation and Gulf have done nothing to increase salaries for years, with huge staff turnovers. Bristow and Aero are beginning to look like Third World, third rate operators as well. Looks as if Europe is the only place either of them pay a decent wage and offer good conditions of service
