It's true I made the wrong assumption that you "confirm final" were from Europe.
And it bothers me because I met too many of those Germans, French, Brits, always thinking that their JAA-God licence and their white status would be the passport to get a job anywhere without even thinking about the Thai pilots already here.
I know thailand for having stay there for 4 months in 98, I may even be the only white farang who has ever performed a ram muay in Udon Thani before being trashed by a local.
I thought I could land a job with my 3000TT at this time but forget about it. Without some jet experience which is pretty well looked after everywhere in Asia , what can you bring to a company that the locals don't have?
Medwin, yes I agree, "everything" is very cheap in Thailand and that makes me sad most of the time.
