Any QF crew care to confirm that you've been reduced to staying in a
motel?
On my very first layover in LA, I unknowingly walked into the tail end of a gang shootout in the carpark adjacent to the
hotel where we stayed (Marina del Ray), and which provided excellent security - for obvious reasons.
