After 28 years in this business and numerous cheap watches, I thought it was time I treated myself to the best. The B-1, is a great watch, has all the functions you will ever need and then some. Not sure why the inner bezel is geared, but it really doesn't matter as the outer and inner rings have 2 completely different uses, and of course at my age reading the small numbers is my biggest problem. If the size is an issue for you, you may want to wait till the new edition of the AEROSPACE comes out. It has almost every feature of the B1 at half the weight since it is titanium.
