How about we keep this thread informative and balanced, where we understand every pilot has different ambitions, financial positions, outlooks and goals?

Many will go to the US and return. I’ve seen it as an expat before. It doesn’t mean the US experience isn’t suited for a lot of Australian pilots. Expat life is a challenge and often professionally humbling. It can take a long time to settle in lifestyle and vocation.

So how come you pulled the pin on Atlas? It could save a few readers some heartache if they resonate with your sentiments.


And yes, as not so nicely put above, rapid command opportunities are at carriers in Australia where there is no seniority, no union, no EBA and no money. But they do have a Bond.
