We think it will happen it's just a matter of when. The current arrangement is terrible for everyone. With Rumour of expanding to other Asian destinations from Perth using the NEO, they will have to reopen the base. However I wouldn't base your decision to join the company on that alone. If it's smart, cost effective and efficient, Jetstar management will find a way to screw it up. You honestly have no idea how short sighted and incompetent they are. Save $1 today that costs $10 tomorrow.
All the ex Perth crew still have right of return (don't know how long for) and the base would probably go rather senior.
