Is there really demand for a Paramaribo - London route ? I know it operated years ago, but Surinam Airways have struggled financially for some time, BA will fly to neighbouring Guyana from next month and links between the UK and Surinam are not exactly strong - the UK doesn't have an embassy or consulate in Surinam, and Surinam has just a honorary consul in the UK. American Airlines as the sole US-based airline are terminating their flights to Paramaribo in the spring. If Surinam Air want to expand... perhaps Atlanta or Sao Paulo might be more credible ?
