Lights might not be expensive, but when you put a sticker on them saying ‘aviation’ they tend to become a hell of a lot more costly.
I think people are forgetting that everything has been switched off. To create an airport again will require a not insignificant amount of money and effort just to become a working airport again. Does DMBC have the cash for this? Think we already know the answer to that.
