Are the comfy? No
You just get the bastards comfy, 3 to 4 years, then you need a re-sole.

Are they durable? No. I am on to my fourth pair in addition to numerous resoles etc.
Well, they are durable, mine cop a belting, they don't let you down.

Are they ridiculously overpriced? Yes.
Absolutely not! Even with the re-soles they're cheap when you look at the wear you get out of them.

Would I be seen in public without them?

Couldn't give a **** whether I'm seen in them or not, they're ******* workboots.

NO They are probably the most all round shoe I can get that fits me. Work, Dress, semi casual, pub after work, Whatever.
That you can wear your work boots to the disco is a bonus.

Worth ordering them in Kanga. Same price and softer, more durable leather
Rightio, sounds good.

You need to wax them if you want them to last. Just rub Dubbin into them every few months and they will last forever.
It's not the leather that is the problem, it's supinating feet.
