Flying from Jamaica to UK in 1962
A publisher friend has an author mentioning flying from Jamaica to the UK in 1962. I assume that would have been BOAC, and also that Comet 4s or B707s would have been involved, but life is never that simple. Did people fly direct to LHR, I presume from Kingston, in 1962, and was BOAC the only airline, and what would have been the aircraft? Key thing is the aircraft as it will inform an illustration.
