I actually know 2 people who were able to successfully postpone theirs. 1 person wasn't sure if they want the job still and the other is in the middle of relocating to Sydney and was initially offered an 8 week Sydney GS but asked to wait since they hadn't moved yet and were able to be put in a Melbourne based GS instead. Maybe it depends on how lenient the person on the phone is so good luck if you ask!
thats so reassuring! Thank you for your information i really appreciate it!! I asked to push it back till March or April but they hung up the phone quickly and did not relay the information back to me for clarity, so now I’m not sure if they noted it down on my file 😰 Is it worth calling the number again? But also don’t want to sound pushy…
