Hi Arena. QLink has two separate seniority lists and EBAs. Cairns is a Sunstate base, along with Brisbane and Adelaide. The Eastern bases are Sydney and Melbourne. Doesn't look like any hiring into Cairns or Brisbane at the moment, but Adelaide more likely if you want to be on the right seniority list and get there eventually.
Lots of hiring into Eastern bases at the moment. You can apply for a Sunstate base once you're in, but youll drop to the bottom of their seniority list. It might take a while before spots become available.
