I know I should get out more and it has now stopped raining - however I have been looking at this somewhat overlong silent movie shot at USAAF Honington. Right at the end of the reel from 28.52m is footage of what looks to be a B17 drone taking off and taxying. The departing B17 and particularly the taxying B17 look very much like 'Gremlin Gus 11', the tail letter
H being that of the 388th Bomb Group. What do you think ?? I've also added a tit-bit about another B17 which is seen in the Movie.
