I can offer 2 well worn statements:
1. If you want a small fortune - start with a large one and buy a helicopter.
2. Whatever you pay for the aircraft, you'll pay the same again over the next 5 years on maintenance alone.
But don't let me put you off your dream, I flew them for over 30 years and loved it but the Queen and the Chief Constables picked up the bills
