The - now lost - report I read about the Ukrainian intentions towards the bridge said that the aim was to damage the bridge so that it wouldn't be able to carry armour, but could still allow passage by trucks bringing food to feed the city :an amazingly narrow window to aim at. If the bridge is now impassable, how will the city of 280 000 be provisioned ?
