This is what we received - copied the quote from our notice:
Aircrew should note that from 11 May 2022, pilots no longer need to report aircraft type on first contact with Director for arrivals into LTMA airfields. If ATC need the type confirming they will ask the pilot to confirm. There is no change for departures.
Didn't state any further source, but apparently was distributed to operators.
