The only sense I can make out of this venture is that its a completely bogus entity made to bring the Max to service in Australia. Once the type has safely proven itself it will suddenly merge into VA or QF and "suprise" we have Max 737s now and look they are safe. I mean that scenario is as viable as making money from the routes they have chosen. If a Max should have an event, well its not linked to anyone other than a new startup that now is gone.
Doubtful. Quite a few reputable entities, American, United, Korean, Singapore, Air Canada are already operating them without much fear of the ramifications of another event.
Singapore is already flying them into Australia.
