Don't wear any man made fibre anywhere, many forget the underwear, stick to cotton or wool. Had a USAF chap who went off the end of the runway in a T-33 and suffered badly from nylon induced injuries in the subsequent fire who spent a lot of time on the lecture circuit telling his story.
