That sounds quite likely, after all those graduates had to pass the tests before they could enter the academy and the company has the full training record on top of it. That said, in the past all pilots coming from other companies with an audited operational safety record like back then air berlin could join with just an interview as well. Unknown new candidates have to be assessed, that is not just common standard but also a legal requirement.
