India is overrepresented with planes off the sides and ends of runways. It can be an entertaining country to fly around, and occasionally the set up for the operator is pretty fascinating.

Delhi has 3 major runways and elects to plonk heavy widebodies on a runway that has a massive displaced threshold, due to a temple that was built off the end; wet, tailwind, and requests for the reciprocal or any of the other runways that are not compromised get lost in the sands of time.
Mumbai's main runway is so-so, but gets Notamed out of action in the monsoon which requires the use of the cross runway, which is again fun, with a heavy jet carrying gas for alternates that are distant. Getting the main runway to be available when the braking action and length and weight of the arriving aircraft is less limiting.
